I decided to watch this because I wanted 'thoughtless horror' that wasn't too bad--something to put on in the background. I couldn't stop watching.

NOTE: Yes, a lot of it is 'guessable', but not all of it! The film is based on the old fable--greed, family, love, riches--what's most important, and how do you undo a mistake?

The acting was good--no cheesy, unrealistic dialogue and it had an indie film flair. It also wasn't gory, but dense with suspense and that 'creep factor' that makes the film's age rating of no difference usually PG horror films don't live up to it for me , because we literally do not NEED to rely on gore and sex.

The end has a twist, and I suggest watching past the initial credits because the film doesn't end. I'm sure there are many who clicked out when the credits started.

I was surprised how good this was for only being rated a 5 on IMDB, but then again any horror movie that you watch, unless an extreme blockbuster, is rated lower than the average flick, and this wasn't average regardless of its use of the classical 'make a wish' trope as we've seen many times.

The music was good in addition to the cinematography. While a little 'guessable'--it's totally redeemed. If you like creepy high-school horror that doesn't ploy on cheese, this is it.

Highly recommend. I am going to rate it a five just to levy it up, because, a lot of B-movie horror fans just want a bloody rush, and that's certainly not all horror.

Regardless of this film's popularity, I wouldn't classify it as a B. It was a fun watch, and I actually reflected for a moment after it ended when does that ever happen with 'make a wish' highschool movies?

Give it a watch, and don't forget to keep watching once the credits start. They keep you watching the credits with some really awesome horror art relevant to the plot, but keep going until the final scene hits.

A terrible movie. At an hour in, I couldn't take it anymore and clicked to 10 minutes left to see what doom and misery would be hopefully visited upon her.

No emotional connection the main character or her gross friends. Social justice much? Her dad calls her, "buddy" and her old friend across the street makes a point of asking if she's interested in a boy "or a girl" Do yourself a favor and don't be tricked by the garbage 4 star reviews or anything more than 2 because this is a movie for socially-inept weirdos and simpletons She deserves what she gets.

I actually really liked this movie. Then decided to finish watching. The ending is worth it. Her last wish was definitive of "careful what you wish for" and deserved.

Ironic that the blood price had to definitive of "learning one's lesson". That aside, well directed and nice cinematography.
