Gosh I wish this movie would've been longer! Alex Roe and Jessica Rothe had real chemistry on screen. I wish we could've seen more of them together, more of that passion and meaningful dialogue between them, but this movie is more than a romance.

To have a brown-eyed child, I would have to conceive with someone who has a brown-eye gene to give, and if he had a brown-eye gene to give, then he would have brown eyes, since it is a dominant gene.

People who have read the book and seen the movie know there's very little resemblance. The names are the same for Liam and Josie, there's a surprise child, and a small town, but other than that the book is a much different story, one that I found lacking depth and emotional connection.
The narration, told in dueling, first person POV is mechanical and tells rather than shows. I never felt strong compassion for Liam's struggles that lead to him leaving Josie.
